— Our Work · Jersey City Public Schools
Eight years. One district. Fourteen applications. Zero defects.
This is not a case study about a software deployment. It is a case study about what happens when a district decides to trust a single partner with its entire administrative infrastructure — one workflow at a time.
01 How It Started
One problem. One system. Built right.
In 2018 Jersey City Public Schools came to IVDisplays with one problem. Their legacy eForm system — the engine behind district-wide approvals, procurement workflows, and administrative decisions — was outdated, unstable, and no longer fit for purpose. They needed a modern replacement: cloud-based, secured, reliable.
We built it. What happened next wasn't planned. It was earned.
02 How It Grew
Problem stated. Solution delivered.
When the first system worked — not just at launch, but consistently, across every compliance cycle, without defects — the district came back. Not because we pitched them. Because they had another problem and they knew we could solve it.
Then another. Then another.
Over eight years IVDisplays built fourteen production applications for Jersey City Public Schools. Each one started the same way: the district gave us a problem statement. We did the heavy lifting to figure out the right solution. No lengthy specifications. No back-and-forth over requirements documents. A problem stated. A solution delivered.
That approach — take the problem, return with the answer — became the foundation of an eight-year relationship that never produced a single defect or a single moment of unplanned downtime.

04 The Moment That Defined the Relationship
That is how long it took IVDisplays to design, build, and deploy a fully operational staff attendance system for Jersey City Public Schools when COVID-19 made one urgent — immediately, without negotiation, without a scoping document.
The pandemic upended how every district tracked its workforce overnight. JCPS had a problem and no time to solve it the usual way: they needed a foolproof system for staff to log in and record attendance, they needed it to work, and they needed it now. We delivered it in 48 hours.
That moment — more than any single application, more than any compliance metric — defined what the relationship actually was. Not a vendor. Not a contractor. A partner the district could call in a genuine emergency and trust completely.
In eight years there were no nervous moments. Not one.
05 The Numbers Eight years of operational proof

This is what eight years of operational proof looks like.
06 What This Means for Your District
These are not JCPS problems. They are K12 problems.
Every application built for Jersey City Public Schools solves a problem that exists in every NJ district. OPRA request backlogs. Manual budget transfer approvals. Athletic consent forms on paper. Asset records that don't match what's in the buildings. Household surveys that drift out of compliance.
These are not JCPS-specific problems. They are K12 administrative problems. We know how to solve them because we have solved them — in production, at scale, without defects, for eight years.
If your district is living with any of these problems, the infrastructure to fix them already exists.
07 A Note on Trust
Anyone can build software. Very few earn eight years of unbroken trust.
In eight years Jersey City Public Schools never had a reason to question our work. Every system performed. Every deadline was met. Every compliance cycle passed without incident.
Very few firms earn eight years of unbroken trust from one of New Jersey's most complex urban districts. That trust is the credential we bring to every new conversation.
Eight years of unbroken performance is the standard we carry into every new district.
The infrastructure is proven. The record is public. The commitment is the same.
